– All Ant Paramedics excluded. No exceptions. Yes, this includes flying ant medics too.
If you’ve followed EMS Flight Safety Network for any period of time, you already know we’re all about team.
By definition, EMS Flight Safety Network (EMSFSN) is the people who keep air medical safe.
The network includes the entire team of professionals who take care of your loved ones from accident scene to operating room and beyond.
EMS Flight Safety Network includes:
- EMTs | Medics | Nurses
- Pilots | Firefighters | ER Staff
- Security | RRTs | Trauma Doctors
- Landing Zone Coordinators | Dispatchers
- Specialty Transport Teams | Flight Surgeons
- Flight Communication Specialists | Mechanics | Chaplains
- Police | Fire Police | CNAs | NICU Nurses | Retirees | Veterans
- The Family, Friends & Coworkers Who Support These Professionals

Please note “Ant Paramedic” is nowhere to be found on our list of caregiver professionals.
“Unfortunately, we had to draw the line somewhere. We love all our medics, but membership for Ant paramedics just AiNT happenin'” said Troy Shaffer, Director of EMS Flight Safety Network.
The backlash to EMSFSN’s decision was quick and decisive.
The Ant Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) immediately announced Ant Sharpton and a team of ant activists will be descending upon EMSFSN headquarters in the near future.
More information about ant paramedics can be found here.
But for now ant paramedics remain excluded from EMS Flight Safety Network membership.
