WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Paramedics were repeatedly hit and punched while attending to a 52-year-old allegedly intoxicated woman at a Wichita Falls restaurant on Sunday night.
Police were called to Cheddar’s to assist American Medical Response (AMR) paramedics with a woman, Gina Blackburn, who had been unruly and passed out in one of the restaurants booths, according to News Channel 6.
Paramedics performed a sternum rub twice to wake her up. Each time, Blackburn reacted by punching and hitting paramedics. She was arrested and charged with assault of a public servant.
