— John Mull, a 32-year paramedic veteran, was found unresponsive at the scene of a motorcycle crash.
GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, Mich. — A veteran flight paramedic died Monday in a motorcycle crash.
Up North Live reported that John Mull, a 32-year paramedic veteran, was found unresponsive with an unidentified woman at the scene of the crash.
A passerby was performing CPR on Mull when first responders arrived, and officials believe Mull could have suffered a medical emergency before the crash occurred, but are waiting for results from the medical examiner.
The passenger suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The crash is currently under investigation.
“John Mull was a flight paramedic who was one of the original crew members of Munson Healthcare’s North Flight EMS, which began operations in 1986,” the North Flight Aero Med Team said in a statement. “
Over the years of his career, he saved countless lives and gave us the benefit of his knowledge, creativity, ‘out of the box thinking’ and wonderful sense of humor … we will miss hearing about John’s latest ‘hot tip’: he had a hot tip about everything!”
