Jen is a friend of mine who has an eye for good training. One day she called excited about a job offer she just got. “It’s so incredible,” she said, “when you hear how I got this job, you won’t believe it.”
“What won’t I believe?” I asked. “What could be so incredible?”
Jen continued. “When you asked me to ‘test drive’ your stuff for Nurses and Medics and Pilots who want to fly medical helicopters, I did it just to help you out. I followed the steps just to make sure everything worked. I did it to help a friend. That’s it. Nothing more. I didn’t expect anything to come of it.”
“And with my medical condition, I never once thought about flying as a real flight medic.”
“But now it’s happening. For real!”
I had to cut her off to get a word in — “Jen, what are you even talking about? What’s happening for real?”
Jen continued. “Do you remember when it happened? When I lost my eye? How I figured my dreams of flying were over. And I moved on because I didn’t have a choice. Do you remember?”
Me: “Yes, of course I remember? You were very strong. I admired you for it. We all did.”
Jen: “But that’s the thing I’m trying to tell you, Troy….
I was wrong. You were wrong. The Army was wrong….
We were all wrong! And thank God we were because it’s still not too late. Because I still can fly. And now it’s happening!”[/text_block]
But before Jen left the Army . . . . it happened.
A fluke accident took her left eye.
But Jen recovered. And true to Jen’s go-getter, drive-on spirit, Jen refused to let her injury slow her down in any way….
Except one.
Jen no longer believed she could fly.
The Army told her she couldn’t fly. And Jen believed it. She never thought about flying again. Jen just moved on to becoming a great paramedic.
Fast forward to 30 years later…
Jen and I are still friends. And when I needed someone to ‘test drive’ my INSIDER future flight crew training program, Jen was a no-brainer pick.
She was older and wiser, but still the same ‘never give up’ spit-fire she was back in the Army. True to Jen’s nature, she did everything INSIDER training asked her to do.
Jen built her network, practiced mock flight interviews and mailed out real resumes to real flight programs. She always said, “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”
And when Jen got a call for a real flight interview, she figured “why not? It will help me with my next real interview.” See, Jen was still thinking the same as 30 years ago. She quit believing she could fly the day of her accident.[/text_block]
And that’s why she was so excited!
“Are you sitting down? Because you’re not going to believe what just happened!” is the first thing Jen said. She recognized my voice and didn’t even bother with hello.
“All I did was follow the steps in the program you sent me. And two weeks from now I’m starting as a flight medic for one of the biggest flight programs in the country. Can you believe it?!”
Truth is, I could believe it. Because I know Jen, and I know the success others have had with our training program. But before I could say it….
Jen cut me off again.
“I swear to God this stuff you send me every month is like an autopilot to become a flight medic. I mean, I didn’t do anything special. I just followed the directions, and now I’m going to be a flight medic! It’s like an ‘autopilot miracle’.”
Finally, I got the chance to ask the obvious question–
“Jen, what did they say about your eye injury?”
Jen said, “that’s the ‘miracle’ part of the miracle. The FAA vision requirements are only for the pilots. The medics and nurses can fly without perfect vision. They can even do it with only one eye…like me!”
“I just can’t thank you enough. I’m like pinching myself to make sure this is real and I’m not just dreaming it.”
I’ve been smiling ever since I talked with Jen. It’s a great feeling to help a true friend reach her dreams. And now I want to share the same program that helped my friend Jen…with you!
Here are the details….[/text_block]

For a second, imagine the worst. A moment of inattention causes your car to veer off the road and lose control. One second everything is fine, the next moment your entire world is upside down in a ditch. Everything that matters is at stake – your spouse, your children, your life.
The good news is – that a whole network of people is standing by to help you and your family. Flight Safety Network is the people who keep air medical safe.
From the bystander who calls 911, to the dispatcher who takes your call, the EMT who arrives at your accident, the Fire Department that sets up a landing zone for the inbound helicopter and flight crew. Flight Safety Network is with you and your family every step of the way.
Insider Training Program is about giving caring and compassionate people – people like you – the tools you need to find, get, and keep an air medical flight crew job. You probably already guessed flight crew jobs are competitive. What you might not know, is a lot of times, the difference between getting hired or never getting called again, is the smallest of details. Stuff you would never think important unless you know air medical inside and out.
We share everything we know about air medical with a certain amount of people (during open enrollment periods).
We Give You the Insider Advantage.

“Hi, I’m Julie,
I’m an EMT and Paramedic, and I want to tell you about something that’s changing my life.
My friends and co-workers say I’m a great paramedic.
I would say – I’m still learning, but always try to do my best for my patients.
My biggest problem is that I’m shy and I don’t like to talk about myself – even when I know I did a good job.
So when it comes to interviews, resumes, and networking, I’m probably not the best at it.
But I am getting better – and I want to thank the folks who helped me…”

“Before I found Flight Safety Network I was a nervous wreck about my flight interview.
I read books and researched online forums but Flight Safety Network beat them all. I now feel excited about sharing my past experience in a flight interview and getting on with my air ambulance career.
I am no longer in a state of continual worry. Flight Safety Network’s coaching program has taken such a load off my mind. Now I can relax and know I am going into my interviews completely prepared.”

“Hello,
Dr. Lisa Gibson here. I joined Flight Safety Net Insider to learn more about what air medical crews do every day. What I gained was a whole new respect for the medical crews and pilots on board medical helicopters.
INSIDER is the perfect name for this training program. The newsletter and audio CDs go deep into subjects only an INSIDER could know. I wish this type of training was around years ago. I think air medicine would be safer if it had started sooner.
I highly recommend Flight Safety Net Insider to anyone interested in flying.”

“I was skeptical when I first found Flight Safety Network. I really did not want to spend money on stuff I figured I already knew. And with 21 years’ experience as a medic, I figured there wasn’t too much I didn’t already see.
After finishing the Flight Safety Network audio course and coaching with Troy, all I can say is – Wow! I am glad I bought the training. It was definitely worth it. It’s hard to put an amount on getting up every day and looking forward to going in to work.
The flight interview tips and fast-action worksheets were really helpful. The course teaches what questions to expect in a flight interview and exactly how to answer. Some answers I used ‘as is’ during my interview. And it worked really well.
Nothing speaks louder than results, as they say. Next week I start my training to fly for one of the best air medical teams in the United States. Thank you, Flight Safety Network!”

“Hello,
I’m Karen Kramer. I’m excited to tell you I just got hired as a flight nurse for one of the best air medical programs in the United States.
I am one of the original Flight Safety Net Insiders. I joined as a charter member when the insider program first started. I read every issue cover to cover, and listened to every training CD. And most importantly, I followed the flight interview and networking tips. All the training was excellent, but the best thing I can say about INSIDER, is that it works!
I like it so much I’m keeping my membership going after I start flying. The flight and people skill tips are priceless. If you’re even thinking about flying as a nurse, medic, or pilot someday, you owe it to yourself to check out Flight Safety Net Insider training program.”

I want to say thank you. I turn 36 this year, and I currently work in hospital IT. I love aviation, LOVE IT! I have a private pilot license SEL with an instrument rating, and that has been my most fulfilling educational experience thus far.
I started flying to become a medevac pilot. I soon found that I cannot afford that path in the private sector. I thought about going the military pilot route, however I am late in the game for that as well. I still want to be air crew, and flying in the back would be just as rewarding as flying in the front for me.
I have taken an EMT course in the past and I loved the experience. This website was recommended to me from a family member that used to be a flight nurse. I appreciate the information you provide and helping me paint a realistic picture of what lies ahead. I have been apprehensive about starting new because of my age, current student loan debt, taking a pay cut to start at the bottom again, etc… However this website has been really helpful in keeping my focus on the goal.
I look forward to the information that lies ahead, and thank you again for taking the time to help others.”

What I learned was EMT is the best time to start learning everything about medical flying jobs. It’s just like anything else. If you know how to do it, and when to do it, you save yourself a ton of time an money. My coaching with Troy made all that clear.
It was great. Troy gets it. He’s easy to talk to and and came up with a plan that made perfect sense for my life situation and job goals. Does Insider Cost 1000’s of Dollars?
To us, it’s priceless! And we think most people feel the same as we do. We also know plenty of wannabe flight medics, nurses and pilots who already spent a small fortune getting qualified. So spending a little more to make sure you get exactly the job you want – just makes sense.
But we also realize the typical EMT, Paramedic, Nurse, Student Pilot, etc, isn’t loaded with extra spending money. So we want to keep the price at a level where as many qualified students who want to enroll – can afford to enroll.
$97 a month is what Insider will eventually cost everyone who enrolls. We believe this price (and probably more) is fair. But, that’s not the price for this special-offer open enrollment period.
If you sign up before this special offer ends, you can get Insider (and the bonuses valued at $491), for only $33 dollars a month.
But that’s still not the best part . . .
The best part is your price is locked for life. As long as you maintain membership, you will never pay more than $33 a month.[/text_block]
